No. Option Panel is a technology platform that lets you connect your brokerage account — or manage trades manually without a connection — to give you powerful tools for analyzing, managing, and tracking your options positions. We do not provide brokerage services, we never decide or place orders on our own initiative, and we have no access to your funds. When you send an order, you are instructing your own broker, and it is your broker that executes it. Your money stays with your broker, just as it always has.
Today you can connect a Tradier account, and TradeStation and Interactive Brokers are in active development. If your broker isn't integrated yet, you can still use Option Panel to create and manage your trades manually, with the help of the platform's built-in tools.
Once you connect your broker account, Option Panel automatically imports your trades and fills. The sync runs periodically to keep your portfolio up to date.
Yes, security is our top priority. Your broker credentials are encrypted using industry-standard encryption and are never stored in plain text. Option Panel can never move money — withdrawals are impossible through the platform. An order only ever leaves Option Panel when you press Send in the order ticket, and it is your broker that executes it.
