Trade log (My trades)
Opening the trade log
Section titled “Opening the trade log”Select My Trades from the left-hand navigation menu. Inside you will find a complete historical list of all your trades, displayed in a table.
Sorting and filtering
Section titled “Sorting and filtering”The table can be sorted by trade ID using the ID column. You can also filter by any other column header:
- In text fields — type a word or part of one. For example, entering
SPYshows only trades on that underlying. - In fields with a known set of values — tick the ones you want instead of typing them. Status, Account and Portfolio all work this way, so you can show only your open trades, or only the trades of one portfolio, without remembering how you spelled its name. Tick several to see them all at once.
The funnel icon in each column header tells you, at a glance, which columns are narrowing the table: it is outlined while the column is not filtering anything and turns solid and coloured as soon as it is. To clear a single column, open its filter and press the circular arrow inside it; to clear everything at once, use the Clear filters button described below.
Action buttons
Section titled “Action buttons”The top-right of the page holds three action buttons:
- Add Trade — create a new trade from scratch. A dedicated page will cover this in depth.
- Edit — primarily used to reassign a trade to a different portfolio.
- Delete — permanently removes a trade from the log. This action cannot be undone, so the platform asks for confirmation before proceeding.
Toolbar icons
Section titled “Toolbar icons”To the right of the search bar there are three more icons:
- Market data status — a blinking coloured indicator that shows the market data connection status and the price-update frequency (which may vary depending on your subscription plan).
- Show / hide inactive accounts — an eye icon that toggles the visibility of trades belonging to accounts that are no longer active.
- Clear filters — clears every active filter with a single click.
Opening a trade
Section titled “Opening a trade”To open the detail view for any trade, click its ID number. A dedicated page will cover the trade detail view in depth.
