Settings overview

To access your account settings, click the user icon in the top-right corner of the screen and select User Settings from the menu. That takes you straight to this section.

The first block is General Information. It holds your basic profile details: your full name, your email address, your country of residence, your phone number, and your professional condition (which tells the platform whether you are a non-professional individual investor). You will also find a toggle to subscribe or unsubscribe from the Option Panel commercial newsletter.

All fields are editable. After any change, click Save all to persist it.

Option Panel is currently English-only, so the language selector cannot be changed. The time zone is editable: by default it matches the country of residence you entered when you created your account; update it here whenever needed.

In the Password Information block, enter your current password, type the new one, confirm it in the third field, and save with Save all.

Further down you will find the Portfolios section. Portfolios are how you group your trading inside Option Panel. A dedicated video will go into detail about what portfolios are and how they fit into your trading workflow; for now, this is where you create and manage them.

To create one, click Add / Edit portfolios. A dialog opens where you can give the portfolio a name and assign it an identifying color from the available palette so each portfolio stays visually distinct at a glance. Click Save changes when you are done.

At the bottom of the page you will find a section highlighted in red called Danger Zone. As the name suggests, this is where the most sensitive account actions live.

Close my account permanently deletes your account. Activating it does not delete anything immediately: a 90-day grace period begins, during which you can change your mind and reverse the request with no consequences. If the window passes without you cancelling, all your data is permanently and irreversibly removed from Option Panel.

Export my data is available only while an account-closure request is active. It lets you download a JSON file containing everything Option Panel holds about you: profile, subscription, accounts, trades, fills, journals, orders — everything.
